Character designations carry certain inherent traits along with them. These traits are encoded in a particular eight-digit binary code known as Designation Natural Abilities, or DNA. The first four digits pertain to Attributes (Agility, Intelligence, Resilience, Perception) and the second four digits correspond to Skill classes (Combat, Modding, Streetwise, Infiltration). For example, the Modder DNA looks like the following.

Where an Attribute or Skill has a 1, it automatically has an ability point assigned to one of its slots. If it has a 0, it does not obtain any natural points.

Humans get an Agility or Resilience bonus.
